Family portraits

 

I also took these in week 30, but I thought it would be better to put them in a separate post since they are more formal portraits. I set up a make-shift studio in my home with a white sheet and used my on camera flash as command to my SB800 flash, which I put facing into a reflective umbrella. Since I was unable to use a full size backdrop I did have to do some editing to the background to clean up the edges, but the lighting came out pretty even given the circumstances. I added some light vignetting on them since the white was just a bit too stark.
